Mercio Payne ASLA Patient The records show Payne is one of the last admissions to ASLA. He had an obsession with painful activities, what today might be called an S&M addict. He was admitted to ASLA after entering a local bar and screaming “I can kick the ***** out of everyone here”. When the police arrived, he was rolling in the middle of a circle of kicking of angry drunks, laughing hysterically. At ASLA they discovered he liked inflicting pain as well. An entry from Dr. Matte Ambrosi: "I have decided to stop all treatments on the patient due to his abnormal obsession with continuing such therapy."
